The mom of this family is a past college roommate of mine and all-around extraordinary woman. I was lucky enough to get to spend a whole day with them on their way through town. A great day of reunioning would definitely not be complete without photos!

Meet my darling, new niece. We are thrilled to welcome her to the family. You really can't tell from these photos but she is just an itty bitty thing. Just 5 pounds 6 ounces. She is also the first girl in a family of boys. Yay for that!

taylor: a sneak peek

Meet my cousin Taylor. She is going to be a senior this year. After that she has big plans to become a doctor. I say, you go girl. She came down from Wyoming on her way to California and let me take her pictures. I'm so lucky!

the B family: sneak peek

I grew up in a string playing family. I played the cello through my freshman year of college. I hope that someday my children will all be string players too just like in this family. I got a mini-recital during this session as they each played for me. Sunshine, music. What could be better?

Despite the weather going all crazy on us, I had a wonderful time shooting Beth's bridals. I even got to take my first ride in a golf cart. I'm so excited for their wedding next week. Isn't love grand?
